Desserts - Mixed Berry Pizza

Pizza dough:
2 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup flour for working dough
3/4 cups milk
5 Tbsp. sweet butter softned
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Pizza Filling:
3/4 cup ricotta cheese
zest of one lemon and orange
2 cups assorted berries
6 Tbsp sugar
1/2 c almonds, sliced for garnish


Dough: Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Combine all ingredients for dough. Knead well. Roll out on lightly floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness.Makes 2 crusts. Lightly top crust with sugar.

Combine ricotta cheese and zests. Spread over dough. Cover with fresh fruits.Don't mix together before adding as some fruits bleed and will ruin the colors of the other fruits. Sprinkle with sugar and almonds. Bake for approx. 10 minutes.

1 Tube refrigerated sugar cookie dough 1 (8 oz) package of cream cheese 1/2 Cup powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla (preferably clear) Fruit for topping Cut the dough into circles at one-and-a-half hash marks.
