2 lbs. assorted berries (black, raspberry, strawberry, red currants) or 2 lbs. cherries (sour)
Sugar to taste (about 1/2 cup )
Starch or vanilla pudding

Place berries in heavy pot, brake up a little (potato masher), add some water (to fresh ones), add sugar and bring to boil. Thicken with starch or pudding; texture should be pudding like, not too thick. Pour in bowl and serve either hot or really cold with cold milk or warm vanilla sauce.

Note: Can use frozen berries.

3/4 c packed brown sugar 3 tbsp butter 1/4 c half-and-half 2 tbsp maple syrup 2 firm bananas 1 tbsp rum 2 c vanilla ice cream In heavy skillet with flameproof handle, combine sugar, butter, half-and-half and maple syrup. Place on grill over medium-low heat; cook, stirring often, for 8 minutes or until tiny bubbles form around edge of pan. Do not boil. Meanwhile, peel and cut bananas lengthwise into quarters; cut into 2-inch lengths. Add to pan along with rum; stir for 2 or 3 minutes or just until heated through. Serve over ice cream. Makes 4 servings.

1 lb. Box of Rosa Marina, orzo 2 Large cans of Chunk Pineapple 2 Cans of Mandarin Oranges 1 Large Cool Whip 2 Eggs Beaten 1-1/2 Cups of Sugar 3 tbs. Flour 1 tsp. Lemon Juice from fresh fruit. Drain Oranges and Pineapple reserving the juice. Boil Together eggs, sugar, flour, lemon juice and the reserved juice of the fruit. Cook orzo until tender (per instructions on box) and drain. Pour juice mixture over drained Rosa Marina mix well and let stand overnight. The next day, fold in Cool Whip and fruit. Let stand at least 2-3 hours. Best if let
