Desserts - Blueberry Ribbon Dessert

1 stick margarine (1/2 cup)
1-1/4 cups flour
2 Tbl. sugar
1 (6 serving size-large) pkg. vanilla pudding
1-3/4 cups milk
1 (21 oz.) can blueberry pie filling


Preheat oven to 350° F. Combine margarine, flour and sugar and press into a 9 x 13 pan and bake for 10 minutes; cool slightly.

Prepare pudding with milk and spread over crust. Then spread pie filling over pudding layer. Top with Cool Whip or whipped cream.

Chill for at least 2 hours.

1 quart blueberries 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup sugar 2 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon sugar 1 tablespoon butter milk Boil berries, water and sugar in a large saucepan until there is plenty of juice. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Cut in butter with a knife then add a sufficient amount of milk to make a soft dough-like biscuit dough.
