4 c. milk -- warmed
10 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. veg. oil
1 Tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
8 c. flour
7 Tbsp. dry yeast (seven)

Place warmed milk in a large bow. Add other ingredients with yeast last. Knead until well blended. This is a soft dough. Roll out 1/2 inch thick, cut into squares or cirles.

Place on floured cookie sheets. Heat deep fryer to 375 deg., fry 4 at a time. When brown on one side, turn and cook on the other side. Drain on paper towel.

Glaze or fill and cover one side with chocolate glaze. 2-3 doz. Do not alter recipe. These are not easy to handle in the traditional hole in the middle shape.

4 cups flour 4 tsp baking powder 1 tsp soda 1 tsp salt 1 tsp nutmeg 1 cup sugar 1/3 cup butter, softened 3 lg eggs 3/4 to 1 cup buttermilk Sift together dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time beating well. Add buttermilk. Stir in dry ingredients gradually. Chill the dough over night in refridge in a covered bowl.
