2 bananas -- chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 (3.4 oz) package vanilla instant pudding mix
1 (8 oz) package frozen whipped topping -- thawed
12 (5 oz) paper cups
20 vanilla wafers -- crumbled
12 wooden craft sticks

Toss together chopped bananas and lemon juice.

Prepare pudding according to package. directions; fold in whipped topping and banana.

Spoon 1/4 cup mixture into each paper cup. Sprinkle with vanilla wafer crumbs, and top evenly with remaining pudding mixture. Insert a craft stick in center of each cup; freeze until firm.

1 (16 ounce) container extra-creamy plain nonfat yogurt (2 cups) 1 package (4 serving size ) chocolate instant pudding and pie filling 6 paper cups (3 ounce size) 6 wooden ice-cream sticks Beat yogurt and pudding and pie filling (dry) with wire whisk or hand beater until smooth. Spoon into six 3-ounce paper cups; insert wooden ice-cream sticks in center of yogurt mixture in each cup.

Strawberry Margarita Ice Pops To make these ice pops nonalcoholic, substitute freshly squeezed orange juice for the tequila. Active time: 10 min Start to finish: 1 day 1 1/4 lb strawberries, hulled and halved 1/2 cup white tequila 1/2 cup superfine granulated sugar 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice Special equipment: 8 (1/3-cup) ice pop molds and 8 wooden sticks Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth, then force through a fine sieve into a large glass measuring cup. Pour into molds and add sticks. Freeze at least 24 hours. Makes 8 (1/3-cup) ice pops Gourmet August 2000
