Dairy - Sour Cream - Homemade Sour Cream

1 cup cream
1 tablespoon active cultured buttermilk

Mix together and place in a clean, non-porous container.

Let stand, covered and undisturbed at room temperature until thick and nearly solid: 12 to 24 hours. Refrigerate.
