Dairy - Homemade Ice Cream

4 eggs
2 (12oz.)cans evaporated milk
2 cups sugar
1 quart heavy cream
1 tsp. vanilla


Beat eggs. Add sugar and beat well. Add milk, cream, and vanilla, and mix well. Pour into ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's directions. Makes 5 quarts.

12 (1 3/4 oz.) Milky Way bars, cut into pieces 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk about 3 qts milk 1 (5.5 oz) can chocolate syrup Combine candy and sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan; cook over low heat stirring constantly, until candy melts. Cool, stirring occasionally. Add about 1 quart milk to candy mixture; beat until well blended. Pour mixture into freezer can of 1 gallon hand turned or electric freezer; stir in chocolate syrup. Add enough milk to fill freezer container to within 4 inches from the top. Freeze according to directions.
