Crock_pot - Turkey Noodle Soup

1 turkey carcass, broken into several pieces
2 quarts water
1 tea. salt
1/4 tea. pepper
1 onion chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 carrot, peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/2 tea. dried marjoram
1 bay leaf
6 oz. noodles, cooked and drained


Combine turkey carcass and water in slow cooker. Add salt, pepper, onion, celery, carrot, parsley, marjoram and bay leaf. Cover and cook on low 5 to 6 hours.

Remove carcass and bay leaf from cooker. Take meat off bones; return meat to broth. Discard bones. Add cooked noodles to cooker. Cover and cook on high 20 to 30 minutes. Discard bay leaf.

3 lb. boneless chuck roast 1 large can tomato juice 1 box beef vegetable soup starter 1 (16-20 oz.) bag mix vegetables Trim all fat from roast, cut in pieces. Place in crockpot overnight or early morning. Drain some fat off meat when meat is cooked. Add tomato juice, soup starter and vegetables for another 3-4 hours. Add water as needed. The longer this soup cooks the better. Your meal is ready when you get off work.

2 pounds Italian sausage 1 large onion 2 cloves garlic 5 cups beef broth 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup red wine 28 ounces canned tomatoes 8 ounces tomato sauce 1 small turnip 1/2 teaspoon basil 1/2 teaspoon oregano 3 tablespoons parsley 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese 14 ounces frozen tortellini Slice sausage, hot or sweet. Cook sausage until all most done. Drain on paper towels. Place all ingredients into a large crockpot, except tortellini. Cook on low for 8 - 10 hours. Add tortellini during the last hour.
