Crock_pot - Pork - Apple Pork Curry

2 lb. Lean pork, cut into -- 1/2" Cubes
1 Apple Peeled and chopped
1 small Onion -- chopped
1 Clove garlic -- crushed
1 tsp Concentrated chicken broth
1 tbl. Curry powder
1/8 tsp. Cinnamon
2 tsp. Ground ginger
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 cup Orange juice

In slowcooker, combine the above ingredients. Cover and cook on low 5 or 6 hours or until pork is tender.

Turn pot on high. In a measuring cup, combine 2 Tbs. cornstarch and 2 Tbs. cold water. Stir into pork mixture. Cover and cook until thick. Serve over rice and pass around peanuts, coconut, raisins, and chutney as condiments.

1 (4 1/2 lb.) loin pork roast 3 cloves garlic 1 qt. jar unsweetened applesauce Peel garlic. Brown roast, lay on top of garlic cloves. Pour applesauce over this. Cook on low 10 hours, or high for 5-6. This is very tender and the sauce has a garlicky taste. In the Nesco, cook it at 350º for 2 1/2,then turned it down to 200 for 2 more hours.

Rinse and put pheasant in large bowl with 1/4 cup salt. Cover with water and soak at least 1 hour. Drain and rinse pheasant. Put in large bowl with: 1/3 cup soy sauce 3 Tbl. Worcestershire sauce 3 Tbl. dark brown sugar 2 Tbl. minced garlic 1 Tbl. liquid smoke 1 Tbl. Tabasco sauce 3 Tbl. balsamic vinegar onion powder to taste Put pheasant covered with marinade in fridge. Marinade at least 2 hours. Put pheasant in crock pot with 1 cup water. Discard left over marinade. Cook on low 5-7 hours. Check occasionally and add water if needed.
