1 cup butter
9 tbsp conf. sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
Powdered sugar for topping

Blend butter and sugar. Add in remaining ingredients. Roll into very small rolls. Chill.

Cut into 1" long pieces. Preheat oven to 375F. Bake 10-15 min or until lightly brown. Cool and roll in powdered sugar.
