Cookies - Rolled Cookies Almond Butter Fingers

1.5 cup chopped, blanched or slivered almonds
1.5 tsp granulated sugar
.75 cup margarine
.33 cup sugar
1 tsp almond extract
2 c sifted flour
1 egg white, lightly beaten

Combine almonds with 1.5 tsp sugar and reserve.

Cream butter, .33 cup sugar and almond extract; stir in flour until well blended. FORM into ball and chill. Divide dough in half and roll into a rectangle about .25 inch thick on floured board.

Brush dough with half of beaten egg white and sprinkle with almond-sugar combo. Cut into 3 by .75" bars. (A pizza cutter works well for this; so does a zig-zag pastry cutter.)

1/2 stick butter (I didn't use Crisco & they did not spread) 1/4 cup sugar 1 egg 1/4 cup honey 3 T. milk 1 cup whole wheat flour 1 cup all purpose flour 1 t. baking powder 1/2 t. salt 1 t. cinnamon Preheat oven to 350. Grease or Pam your cookie sheet. Cream butter & sugar. Mix in egg, honey & milk. In another bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt & cinnamon. Gradually add to butter mixture. (I chilled it about 30 minutes).

3 cups sifted flour 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking powder 2/3 cup shortening 1 1/4 cups sugar 2 eggs 2 tbsp. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 cup Wheatena 1/2 cup shredded coconut 1/2 cup chopped nuts Preheat to 375. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Add Wheatena. Add coconut and nuts. Blend the shortening, sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla together. Add dry mixture to creamed mixture and mix until well blended. Roll dough out on floured board to about 1/8 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheets and bake for about 10 minutes or until
