Cookies - Pumpkin Bars

1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
4 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup nuts


Stir first 4 ingredients together. Sift in remaining ingredients. Pour into 11 x 15 sided cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and frost.

Frosting:
6 oz. cream cheese
2 Tbs. milk
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups powered sugar

Combine first five ingredients, mix and set aside. Beat together the eggs, pumpkin, sugar and oil. Add dry ingredient mixture and beat until well combined. If pecans are desired, stir in now. Spread batter in an ungreased 15 by 10 by 1 pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350. Insert a toothpick in the center
