Cookies - No-bake - No Bakes

1 stick oleo (melted)
2 c sugar
4 T. cocoa
1/2 top milk (or 1/4 c. milk and some oleo)*
Boil 1 minute. Add 1 tsp. vanilla.
3 c. uncooked quick oats
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. coconut

Mix altogether, put on a buttered cookie sheet by teaspoons.

*This is how my recipe reads. I usually use 1/2 c. milk and then, at times, I have thrown in a tablespoon of soft margarine for spreading in addition to the stick margarine in with the cooked portion. But sometimes, I just use the stick of margarine and 1/2% milk. Seems to me, that that extra tablespoon of soft margarine gives you a creamier product that is less likely to crumble.

1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice, thawed 1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers-crushed 1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar 1 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans 1 stick butter Crush vanilla wafers fine or in food processor. Mix in sugar and pecans. Add small can O.J. and pour in melted butter. Mix together with hands and form into 1-inch balls and roll additional powdered sugar or coconut flakes if desired.

2 cups white sugar 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup milk 1 pinch salt 3 cups quick cooking oats 1/2 cup peanut butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract In a saucepan bring sugar, cocoa, margarine, milk, and salt to a rapid boil for 1 minute. Add quick cooking oats, peanut butter, and vanilla mix well. Working quickly drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper and let cool.
