Cookies - No-bake - Boiled Cookies By Southern

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 stick butter (1/4 pound)
1/4 cup cocoa
2-1/2 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter


Boil sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa for 1-1/2 minutes. Pour over other ingredients. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let stand until firm. Store in airtight container. (You can use crunchy peanut butter instead of nuts. if you want.)

1 cup crunchy peanut butter 1/2 cup white corn syrup 1/2 cup sugar3 cups crushed Corn Flakes6 oz. chocolate chips Heat peanut butter, corn syrup and sugar over low heat until melted. Add Corn Flakes. Put into 8x8 greased pan. Melt chocolate chips and spread on top. Chill.

2 cups white sugar 1/2cup each butter and milk 3 cups oatmeal 1 1/2 cup shredded coconut+ 6 tablespoons cocoa 1 teaspoon each vanilla and salt Mix sugar, butter and milk in a lightly greased pot over medium heat. Bring to a boil and boil for five minutes. Remove from heat and add to other ingredients in a large bowl immediately, stirring constantly. Drop by large teaspoons on greased aluminium foil. Allow to dry and then chill.
