Cookies - Formed - Angie's Butterballs

8 tablespoons sugar
1 pound butter
4 cups ground walnuts
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cream butter and sugar; add remaining ingredients and mix well. Roll into small balls and place on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 F. for 15-20 minutes. Cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar.

3/4 cup butter 1 cup sugar 1 (3oz.) size box Jell-O® (any flavor) 2 eggs 1 Tbsp. vanilla 3 cups flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt Preheat oven to 350° F.In mixing bowl, cream sugar with butter, gelatin, eggs and vanilla mixing well. Add flour, baking powder, and salt, mix. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Roll into balls, and place on ungreased cookie sheet, about 1 1/2 inches apart. Flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees about 10 minutes. Cookie should not brown. Makes 4 dozen
