Cookies - Drop Cookies Pumpkin By Spice
4 cups all-purpose flour2 cups uncooked oats
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups soft butter or margarine
2 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 (16 oz) can solid pack pumpkin
1 cup real semi-sweet chocolate morsels
assorted nuts and raisins, optional
Preheat oven to 350° F. and lightly grease cookie sheet.
Combine soda, flour, oats, cinnamon and salt.
Cream butter, add sugars and beat.
Then add egg, vanilla and pumpkin.
Add dry ingredients slowly to wet.
Add chocolate morsels
Add nuts and raisins if desired.
For each cookie drop about 1/4” dough on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake until firm and lightly brown at 350 degrees, 20 to 30 minutes.
