Cookies - Chocolate Wafers
1 c. shortening2 c. sugar
2 eggs or 1/2 c. substitute
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla; stir in chocolate. Blend in flour and salt. Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with bottom of flat glass that has been greased and dipped in sugar. Bake 8 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool on rack.
