Cookies - Choc-full Of Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

1 cup margarine or butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
4 cups Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
1 cup flour
2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt, optional
1 cup (6 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
2 (1.5 oz.) milk chocolate bars, finely chopped


Preheat to 350.

Beat together butter and both sugars until creamy. Add eggs, water and vanilla and beat well.

Combine oats with dry ingredients. Add to batter and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and chopped chocolate.

Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12 to 14 minute or until cookies are set. Do not overbake.

Cool 1 minute then remove to wire rack. Cool completely then store in airtight container.

Makes about 3 1/2 dozen.
