Cookies - Butter Pecan Turtle Cookies

2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter softened
1 1/2 cups pecan halves

2/3 cup butter
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 to 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Crust: preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In large mixer bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and butter, beat at medium speed 2 to 3 minutes. Press into ungreased 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Pat pecan halves evenly into unbaked crust.

Topping: In small heavy saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar. Cook over medium heat until mixture begins to boil. Boil 1 minute stirring constantly; pour over crust.

Bake in center of oven for 18 to 22 minutes or until topping is bubbly and crust is a light golden brown. Remove from oven. Sprinkle on chocolate chips, do not spread. Cool on wire racks. Cut into bars.

Makes about 3 1/2 dozen.

1 cup flour1 cup coconut 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup margarine8 oz cream cheese 1 cup powdered sugar1 cup Cool Whip 1 cup miniature Marshmallows2 cup milk 2 boxes instant vanilla pudding 4 Butterfinger candy bars Mix flour, coconut, brown sugar and margarine until crumbly and pat in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350 F. Stir frequently until brown. Cool. Cream together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, Cool Whip and miniature marshmallows. Put on top of crust. Mix together the milk and pudding and put on the cream cheese layer.

1/2 cup butter, softened1/2 cup brown sugar1 large egg1 teaspoon vanilla3/4 cup flour2 cups milk-chocolate chips, divided3/4 cup pecans, dividedHeat oven to 350°. Grease 8 or 9-inch square pan.In small bowl, cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Blend in flour. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup pecans. Spread in pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven.Immediately sprinkle with remaining 1 cup chocolate chips. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes until chips soften. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup pecans. Press gently into chocolate. Cool; cut into squares.
