Cookies - Brownies

1/3 cup butter
2 ounces bitter (baking) chocolate
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 375 F. Grease and flour an 8 inch square pan.

Melt the butter and chocolate over low heat. Add the sugar, mix thoroughly. Add the eggs, and vanilla, mix well. Stir in flour. Stir in chopped nuts. Spread into prepared pan. Bake 25 minutes, do not over bake.

(3 oz.) cream cheese, softened 2/3 cup raspberry preserves 1 cup unsweetened raspberries Whipped cream, fresh rasperries and mint (optional garnish)Preheat oven to 350.In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add chocolate syrup and eggs; mix well. Add flour and mix well. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and preserves until smooth; gently stir in raspberries. Fold into batter.
