Casseroles - Beef - Off Again? Casserole

1 1/2 lb. ground meat
1 onion -- chopped fine
1 green pepper -- chopped fine
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 can cream-style corn
3 cups mashed potatoes
1/2 lb. grated cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Saute meat, onion and green pepper until meat is brown. Drain off excess grease. Add salt and pepper.

Line large greased casserole with 1/2 of mashed potatoes. Add all of meat and top with corn. Save about 1/2 for top. Top with remaining mashed potatoes and remaining cheese. Cover and bake for 30 minutes at 350° F. (180° C.)
