Casseroles - Beef - Husband's Delight

8 oz pkg. cream cheese
2 c. sour cream
3 green onion tops chopped
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 Tbl. butter, or margarine
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
2 (5 oz.) pkgs. of egg noodles
1/2 c. shredded cheese.

In a bowl mix cream cheese, sour cream and onions; set aside.

Brown the meat in the butter; add tomato sauce, sugar, salt, dash of pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.

Cook noodles according to package directions, (do not over cook) In a 2 qt casserole alternate layers of noodles, beef mixture, and sour cream mixture. Top with shredded cheese and bake in preheated oven 350. until cheese is melted, and slightly browned.

Makes 8 servings.

1 pound ground beef 1 1/2 cups onions, chopped 1 1/2 cups milk 3/4 cup Bisquick baking mix 3 eggs 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 2 tomatoes, sliced 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 10" pie plate. Cook and stir beef and onion over medium heat until beef is brown; drain. Spread in plate. Beat milk, baking mix, eggs, salt and pepper until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high or 1 minute with hand beater. Pour into plate. Bake 25 minutes. Top with tomatoes; sprinkle with cheese. Bake until knife inserted in center comes

1 lb. ground beef 1 c. sliced celery 1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/4 c.) 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tsp. salt 1 can (1 lb.) pork and beans 1 (1 lb.) can lima beans 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste In large skillet, cook and stir ground beef, celery, onion, green pepper, garlic, and salt until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat. Stir in pork and beans, lima beans (with liquid), and tomato paste. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
