Casseroles - Beef - Company Casserole

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 dash pepper
1 can tomato sauce -- (15 oz.)
8 oz. egg noodles
8 oz. sour cream
8 oz. cottage cheese
8 oz.cream cheese -- softened
3 medium green onions -- chopped

Brown ground beef; add salt, pepper and garlic powder. Simmer 30 minutes in tomato sauce.
Mix sour cream, cream cheese & cottage cheese well with fork. Add finely chopped onion and mix.

Cook noodles as directed on pkg. Drain and add 2 TBL butter.

In a casserole, start with a bit of the meat sauce, then layer of noodles, layer of cheese mix. Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce. Bake uncovered in preheated 350° oven for about 45 minutes.
