Candy - Peanut Pattie Sue's Microwave Peanut Patties

2/3 cup light corn syrup
2 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 pt heavy cream
2-3 cups raw peanuts
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
red food color to suit you


Mix syrup, sugar and cream in large microwave bowl. Heat; add peanuts and cook to soft ball stage. Remove from heat.

Add butter, vanilla and food color ( make them color you like). Stir until creamy and cool. Drop by teaspoons onto waxed paper. Keep in tight container.

2 1/2 cups sugar 2/3 cup white corn syrup 1 cup evaporated milk 3 cups raw Spanish peanuts 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. butter Mix sugar, syrup, milk and peanuts together and cook over low heat for one hour. Add butter and vanilla and beat until creamy and spoon on wax paper to form patties. Optional: add some red food color if desired while beating.

3 cups white sugar 1 cup water 1 cup light corn syrup (Karo) 1 pound raw peanuts 1/4 teaspoon red food color 1/4 cup butter or margarine pinch of salt Bring sugar, water and syrup to a boil. Add peanuts and coloring. Cook until hard boil stage. Remove from heat. Add butter and salt. Beat until mixture is too thick to beat. Pour onto a greased cookie sheet. Note: You can either drop this by the spoonfuls, or take the easy route and pour the whole thing onto the cookie sheet and break into pieces when it is cool.
