Cakesandfrostings - Cake Triple Chocolate Fudge Cake

1 small package chocolate pudding mix (not instant)
1 box chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
1/2 cup chopped pecans nuts
Whipped cream (optional)

Preheat oven to 350.

Cook pudding as directed on package.

Blend dry cake mix into hot pudding (Mixture will be thick).

Pour batter into a 9 x 13" pan which has been coated with cooking spray and sprinkle with chocolate pieces and nuts.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.

Serve plain at room temperature or top with whipped cream.
