Cakesandfrostings - Cake Tiara Cake By Judytoth

White cake mix
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
orange marmalade
8 oz cream cheese
8 oz cook whip
vanilla extract
orange extract
powdered sugar
orange zest (optional)
brandy (optional)

Bake cake in tiara pan and cool completely. (I used about 1/2 of a white cake mix.)

Invert the cake and spread marmalade on the bottom and sides of the indentation. (I added some brandy to the marmalade for extra flavor) (I used a few tablespoons)

Mix together cool whip and cream cheese. Mix in a little powdered sugar, vanilla, orange extract, orange zest (and some more brandy, if desired).

(I used a tablespoon of powdered sugar, but you can use enough to fit your taste.)

Spread into tiara cake. Place the mandarin oranges on top of cake in a pretty pattern.

Keep leftovers refrigerated. This also freezes well.

1 Duncan Hines Devil's Food Ckae Mix 1 greased Tiara pan 3 eggs 1+ 1/3 cups water 1/2 cup oil 1/2 teaspoon almond extract 1 (8 oz) Whipped topping 1 can cherry pie filling Cake Prepare pan ( no flouring necessary) Add eggs, water and oil to cake mix. Blend on low speed until oistened. Mix at medium speed for 2 minutes. Place 3 cups of batter into Tiara pan. Note: you should have enough batter left over for 7 to 9 cup cakes. Bake at 350 for 21 to 24 minutes or until checks done. Cool on rack for 5
