Cakesandfrostings - Cake Strawberry Daiquiri Cake By Beck

Cake:
1 package strawberry cake mix
10 ounces frozen strawberries with syrup
3 eggs
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons rum

Glaze:
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon water
1/2 teaspoon rum


Thaw strawberries, set aside. Preheat oven 350 degrees. Spray a bundt pan with cooking spray.

Place all cake ingredients in a bowl. With a mixer mix on low until moist, then on medium for 2
minutes. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 30 - 35 minutes or until done.

In a small bowl mix together glaze ingredients. Spoon over cooled cake.

Strawberry Daiquiri Cake 1 strawberry cake mix 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 can frozen daiquiri mix (thawed) 1 container of Cool Whip® Bake the strawberry cake according to the box directions. Then take it from oven and while still warm, make holes in the cake and pour condensed milk over cake. Then follow with daiquiri mix. It will take a while for the liquid to soak into the cake. Then let cool. Top with cool whip and refrigerate. Really good the next day!

3 eggs 1 cup white sugar 1/3 cup hot water 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt Confectioners' sugar 1 cup strawberries 1 cup cream 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin 1 tablespoon white sugar Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Butter a jelly roll pan. Line it with buttered foil or buttered parchment paper. Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored. Gradually add 1 cup white sugar, beating constantly. Stir in water and vanilla extract. Fold in flour, baking powder, and salt. Pour batter into tin. Bake for 15 minutes.
