Cakesandfrostings - Cake President's Cake

1 box yellow butter cake mix
1 cup commercial sour cream
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
3 tsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a Bundt or tube pan.

Mix together cake mix, sour cream, oil and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Put almost 1/2 of the batter in the pan.

Mix brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Sprinkle over batter in pan. Carefully add remainder of batter. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 60 to 70 minutes. Cool for 20 to 30 minutes, then remove from pans. Glaze cake.

Glaze:
1 cup confectioners’ (10X) sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
enough milk to make thin glaze


Mix well and pour over cooled cake.
