Cakesandfrostings - Cake Icing

1 cup crisco
1 stick butter -- softened
2 tsp. vanilla
32 oz. bag powdered sugar
4 T. milk

Mix the butter, crisco & vanilla. Add the powdered sugar. Mix. Add the milk 1 T. at a time until it reaches desired
consistency

2 cups sugar 1 cup cocoa 2 tsp baking soda 3 cups flour 1 tsp salt 3 eggs 1 cup milk 2 tsp vanilla 1 cup oil 1 cup boiling water Put all dry ingredients in a bowl. Add remaining ingredients, except boiling water. Beat well. Add boiling water and mix well. Batter will be loose. Pour into greased and floured 13x9 pan. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes. Dust with conf. sugar or your favorite butter frosting.

Arrange 6 icecream sandwitches, with sides touching, in 2 rows of 3 each.Spread with 1 cup thawed frozen nondairy whipped topping, then sprinkle 1/3 chup toffee bits (such as Heath ). Top with 6 more ice cream sandwitches; freeze until firm. Holdin plastic wrap extending above sides of pan, lift cake and invert onto a serving platter. Remove plastic wrap,spread top of cake
