Cakesandfrostings - Cake Honey By Syzygy

3 C. flour
1 T. cinnamon
1 T. baking soda
1/2 C. shortening
1 C. sugar
3 large eggs
3/4 C. honey
1 C. triple-strength coffee
1/4 C. chocolate chips
1/4 C. plumped raisins
Grated rind of 1 orange

Sift together first 4 ingredients.

Beat shortening and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, alternately with honey.

Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with coffee beginning and ending with flour. Do not overbeat.

Fold chocolate chips, raisins and orange rind into batter and turn batter into a greased 10-ich tube pan.

Bake in a 325* oven for 1 hour or until cake tests done with a toothpick.

Cool about 30 minutes on a rack, then remove cake from pan to complete

1 cup sugar 1 cup honey 3 eggs 3/8 (three-eighths) cup oil 5/8 (five-eighths) cup warm coffee 1 1/2 tsp. soda 3 cups flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. allspice 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 cup chopped nuts 1 cup raisins Preheat over to 350 degrees. Grease sides and bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Line pan with parchment paper and grease paper. Combine sugar, honey, eggs, oil, coffee and soda in large bowl of mixer until well blended. Add flour, salt, allspice and cinnamon. When well combined, stir in nuts and raisins. Bake 50 - 60 minutes or until cake
