1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
1 pound flank steak, trimmed
cooking spray

Combine first 8 ingredients in a small bowl. Rub spice mixture over both sides of steak.

Heat a large nonstick grill pan coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Add steak and cook 5 minutes on each side. Cut steak diagonally across grain into thin slices.
