(this recipe serves 4 light eaters, so you may want to double it).1 egg
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup flour
Mix all ingredients gently.
Let sit for 10 minutes while the batter rises (very important).
Lightly oil a hot griddle and pour about 1/4 cup for each pancake.
Serve with warm syrup or favorite jelly.
