Breakfastandbrunches - French Toast Raspberry

4 eggs beaten
2 ounces half and half
2 ounces orange juice concentrate
1/8 tsp salt
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
1 stick butter, softened
1/4 cup raspberry preserves
8 slices of good, hearty white french bread (about 1 inch thick)
butter for grilling

Combine eggs, half and half, orange juice concentrate and salt: set aside.

In a separate bowl combine softened cream and cheese and preserves.

Spread cream cheese on a slice of breadand top with another slice of bread.

Dip bread in egg mixture and grill until golden brown using butter to grease grill.

Grill until golden brown on bothsides.

Place on platter and bake in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.

Serve with favorite syrup and/or fresh berries.

2 1/2 c Milk 8 oz Cream cheese cubed 6 tb Margarine 1/4 c Maple syrup 8 Egg Grease a 3 quart rectangular baking dish. Place half of the bread cubes in the dish. Top with cream cheese cubes and remaining bread cubes. Combine eggs, milk, melted margarine or butter, and maple syrup in a blender container or mixing bowl. Process or beat with a rotary beater until well combined. Pour egg mixture evenly over the bread and cheese cubes. Using a spatula, lightly press layers down to moisten. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 to 24 hours.

1 loaf of French Bread (13 to 16 oz) 8 large eggs 2 cups half and half 1 cup milk 2 Tbl. granulated sugar 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg dash of salt Praline Topping: 1 cup (2 sticks) butter at room temperature 1 cup packed light brown sugar 1 cup chopped pecans 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg Maple syrup if desired Slice the French bread into twenty 1-inch slices. Arrange the slices in a generously buttered 9x13 inch flat baking dish in
