Breakfastandbrunches - French Toast Overnight

1 loaf French bread
5 eggs
3/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. pure vanilla extract
1 (20 oz.) bag frozen strawberries
4 ripe sliced bananas
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. apple pie spice
Cinnamon sugar

Cut loaf of French bread into 8 thick slices.V Combine eggs, milk, baking powder and vanilla extract. Pour overbread. VCover and refrigerate overnight.

In the morning, preheat oven to 450.

Combine strawberries, bananas, sugar and apple pie spice.

Put in greased baking dish and top with prepared bread slices.

Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Serves 4.

French Toast:1 cup brown sugar or 1/2 cup honey 1/2 cup butter 2 large tart apples-peeled & sliced 1/4" thick 6 eggs 1 cup milk 1 tsp. vanilla 9 slices day old French Bread cut 3/4" thick Syrup for Topping: 1 cup applesauce 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/8 tsp. ground cloves In saucepan or microwave cook sugar and butter until thick, about 5-7 minutes. Pour into ungreased 13x9 baking pan. Arrange apples on top. In a mixing bowl beat eggs, milk, and vanilla. Dip bread into egg mixture for 1 minute.Place over apples. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove from fridge 30 minutes

1 loaf French bread cut into 1 inch slices 8 eggs 2 cups milk 1 can evaporated skim milk plus enough water to equal 2 cups 1 tsp. vanillla 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. mace Topping: 3/4 cup softened margarine 1 1/3 cup brown sugar Grease pan well and fill with bread slices to within 1/2 inch of the top of the pan. Combine milks and spices andpour over. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate over night. In morning, combine topping ingredients and spread over. Bake at 350 deg. for 50 min.
