Breakfastandbrunches - French Toast Overnight Apple By Jeanndan

French Toast:
1 cup brown sugar or 1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup butter
2 large tart apples-peeled & sliced 1/4" thick
6 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
9 slices day old French Bread cut 3/4" thick

Syrup for Topping:
1 cup applesauce
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground cloves

In saucepan or microwave cook sugar and butter until thick, about 5-7 minutes.

Pour into ungreased 13x9 baking pan. Arrange apples on top.

In a mixing bowl beat eggs, milk, and vanilla.

Dip bread into egg mixture for 1 minute.

Place over apples. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Remove from fridge 30 minutes before baking.

Bake uncovered at 350 for 35-40 min.

24 Rhodes rolls, thawed but still cold 2 egg whites 1/3 cup non-fat flavored coffee creamer (I used Vanilla Toffee Caramel) 3 Tablespoons butter, melted 1/4 cup pecan pancake syrup Cut rolls in half. Mix all other ingredients together in a bowl. Dip rolls in mixture and place in large bundt pansprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Cover bundt pan and left over mixture with plastic wrap and refridgerateboth overnight. In the morning, remover wrap and slowly pour leftover mixture over rolls. Sprinkle with about 3 tablespoons ofbrown sugar...and chopped pecans. Cover and let rise at room temp. until rolls almost reach

1 loaf French bread 5 eggs 3/4 c. milk 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1 tbsp. pure vanilla extract 1 (20 oz.) bag frozen strawberries 4 ripe sliced bananas 1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. apple pie spice Cinnamon sugar Cut loaf of French bread into 8 thick slices.V Combine eggs, milk, baking powder and vanilla extract. Pour overbread. VCover and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, preheat oven to 450.Combine strawberries, bananas, sugar and apple pie spice. Put in greased baking dish and top with prepared bread slices. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Serves 4. --
