Breakfastandbrunches - French Toast Oven Style

1 loaf French bread cut into 1 inch slices
8 eggs
2 cups milk
1 can evaporated skim milk plus enough water to equal 2 cups
1 tsp. vanillla
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. mace

Topping:
3/4 cup softened margarine
1 1/3 cup brown sugar

Grease pan well and fill with bread slices to within 1/2 inch of the top of the pan.

Combine milks and spices andpour over.

Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate over night.

In morning, combine topping ingredients and spread over.

Bake at 350 deg. for 50 min.

Put in greased baking dish and top with prepared bread slices. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Serves 4. --

Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add butter; place over medium heat until butter melts. Dip bread slices (one at a time) into egg substitute mixture, coating well.Place bread slices
