1 cup skim milk
1 ripe banana, cut in chunks
1/3 cup low fat cottage cheese
1 1/2 tsp. sweetener (i.e. Equal)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3-4 ice cubes
dash ground nutmeg (optional)


Put all in blender. Mix at high speed for 45 seconds. Serves 2: 260 calories for the whole recipe; 130 for half.

3 oz. cream cheese1 egg separated2 Tbl. sugar1 Tbl. flour8 oz. Crescent Rolls1/4 cup Preserves (any kind)Preheat oven to 375° F.Combine cream cheese, egg yolk, sugar and flour. Separate crescent dough into two rectangles. Seal perforations. Cut each into 4 (1") pieces. Twist and coil. Brush with beaten egg white. Make an indentation in center of each roll. Spoon 1 Tbl. of cream cheese mixture into each indentation. Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes. Spoon 1/2 tsp. preserves in center of each roll.
