Bread - Friendship Starter Bread By Terrytx

1 cup starter
2/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon salt
3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast

Load into bread machine and use dough cycle. Remove to lightly floured surface and knead a few times to release air bubbles.

Form into a tight round loaf. Cover and let rise 1 to 1-1/2 hours.

Make a cross cut about 1/" deep in top of loaf. Brush with cold water.

Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 15 min., reduce heat to 350 and continue cooking for 10-15 min, or until golden brown and bread sounds hollow when tapped.
