Bread - Buns Angel Buns

1 package quick-acting active yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 cup warm water (105 to 115 degrees)
2 cups Bisquick Original or Reduced Fat baking mix
1/4 cup milk

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water in medium bowl.

Mix in baking mix and milk until dough forms.

Gently smooth into ball on surface dusted with baking mix and knead 10 times.

Roll 1/2 inch thick and cut with 2 inch biscuit cutter dipped in baking mix.

Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Let buns rise in warm place about 30 minutes or until soft and puffed

Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until golden brown.

Makes 9 to 11 buns.

Ingredients: 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 (.25 ounce) packet fast rise yeast 2 tablespoons white sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 1 cup milk 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1 egg Directions: Combine 1 3/4 cup flour, yeast, sugar and salt; mix well. Heat milk, water and butter or margarine until very warm (120-130 degrees F). Add to flour mixture. Add egg, mix well. Gradually add enough flour to make a firm dough.Knead until smooth and elastic. Cover, let rise about 30-35 minutes.Divide dough into 12 equal pieces. Shape into smooth balls and place on greased cookie sheet.
