Asian - Korean Steak

1 lb. top round or top sirloin
1/4 c. soy sauce
3 tbl. vegetable oil
3 tbl. sesame seeds
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
2 tsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. sliced green onion

Pound steak with mallet. Place steak in large shallow dish.

Combine soy sauce and remaining ingredients in small bowl, stirring well.

Pour over steak; cover and allow to mainate in fridge 1 hour.

Remove meat from marinade, and place on greased rack of broiler pan.

Preheat broiler.

Broil 4 inches from heat 4-5 minutes, turn steak, and broil an additional 4-5 minutes.

To serve, slice across grain into thin slices. 4 servings

1 to 1 1/2 pounds ground beef1 cup sliced celery1/2 of an onion1 1/2 cups water1 can bean sprouts1/4 cup uncooked rice1/4 cup soy sauce1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of mushroom soup1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of chicken soup1 can Chow Mein noodlesPreheat oven to 350° F. Brown beef with celery and onion; drain. Combine in a casserole dish and add water, and the remaining ingredients, except Chow Mein noodles. Top with the crunchy noodles, about 1 1/2 cups, and bake for about 1 1/2 hours.

1 1/2 lb. flank steak strips, chicken breast strips and/or cleaned shrimp Assorted vegetables, cut in bite-size pieces 1/3 c. soy sauce 1/3 c. lemon juice 1/3 c. packed light brown sugar 1/3 c. chunky peanut butter 3 tbsp. peanut oil 4 tsp. onion powder 1 tsp. garlic powder 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper Skewer meat, chicken and/or shrimp and vegetables separately. Place in a single layer in shallow casserole. Process remaining ingredients in blender or food processor until smooth. Reserve 13 cup marinade for dipping sauce and pour remainder over kabobs, turning to coat evenly. Refrigerate, covered, at least 30
