Appetizers - Spread - Shrimp Spread Deluxe

2 tblsp. mayonnaise
1 tblsp. ketchup
1 tsp. prepared mustard
Dash garlic salt
1 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, cubed
1 5 oz. can shrimp, drained and rinsed
1 stalk celery, cut into 1-inch pieces


Put first 5 ingredients into blender container. Cover and run on low until smooth. Add shrimp and celery. Cover and run on high until celery is chopped. If necessary, stop blender during processing and push ingredients toward blades with a rubber spatula. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.

1 bag salad shrimp (frozen) 1 bunch green onions minced (scallions including green) Mayonnaise Pepperidge Farm Mini Loaves (mini slices) Pulse shrimp in processor. You will like it better with tiny bits of shrimp still in the mix, so don't over pulse. Add as much minced onions as you like. Add mayonnaise just to bind, don't overdo. Refrigerate in sealed container until next day. Make this the night before, then spread on rye the next day.

8 ounces cream cheese 6 ounces imitation crabmeat 1/2 cup sour cream 1/4 cup green onions 1/4 cup chili sauce 2 dashes garlic powder Beat together cream cheese, sour cream and chili sauce. Stir in crabmeat, onions and garlic. Chill overnight before serving. Serve with crackers.
