Appetizers - Seafood - Salmon Loaf

1 (8 oz.) Package of cream cheese
1 tsp. Lemon juice
1/4 tsp. Liquid smoke
½ tsp. Horseradish
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 can pink salmon
3 tsp. Parsley
chopped pecans (optional)


Mix together a form a log or ball. Roll in pecans and parsley and refrigerate for several hours. You can make this the day before you need it if you wish.

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup smoked salmon, chopped 2 Tbsp fresh dill, chopped 1/2 red onion, diced Dense pumpernickel rounds, squares, or quartered sandwich slices Blend the cream cheese, salmon, and dill. Spread the salmon mixture on top of each round. Arrange on a plate and top with diced onion. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh dill. Serves 6
