Appetizers - Salmon Party Log

1 6 oz cans skinned and boned pink salmon, well drained
1 T lemon juice
1 tsp prepared horseradish
1/4 tsp liquid smoke
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
2 tsp minced onion
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
3 T chopped fresh parsley

Mix together first 3 ingredients cover and chll for 2 hours.

Shap mixture into 7 inch log. Stir together pecans and parsley in a shallow dish.

Roll log in pecan mixture and wrap in plasticwrap; chill. Serve with assorted crackers.

1 egg -- beaten 1 tsp dijon mustard 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice 3/4 tsp thyme 6 tbsp olive oil 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper 1 lb lump crabmeat -- picked over & flaked 1/2 cup fine dry breadcrumbs 2 tbsp unsalted butter fresh lemon wedges In a medium bowl, whisk the egg, mustard, lemon juice and thyme until blended. Slowly whisk in 4 tbsp of the oil in a thin stream. Season with the salt and pepper. Stir in the crabmeat; add the breadcrumbs, and mix until blended. Shape the crabmeat mixture into (8) 1/2" thick

Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add salmon, smoked salmon, and next 3 ingredients.
