Appetizers - Porcupine Meatballs By Bet

1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup uncooked regular rice
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 (15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 cup water
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix meat, rice, 1/2 cup water, onion, salts, garlic powder and pepper.

Shape by rounded tablespoonsful into balls.

Place into ungreased baking dish, 8x8x2 inches. Stir together remaining ingredients. Pour over meatballs.

Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.

2 lb. hamburger peppers, onions, etc, (whatever fixin's you like) 1 c. uncooked rice 1 can cream soup (broccoli, mushroom, etc.) Mix all ingredients except soup in large bowl. Make small sized meatballs and set in greased casserole dish. Mix contents of soup with 1 1/2 cans water and pour mixture over meat balls.Cover and bake for 45 minutes. Rice pops out of meat balls to look like porcupines.
