Appetizers - Mushrooms - Stuffed Mushrooms By Linda In Mo

24 large mushrooms
1/4 cup sliced green onions (can use reg. onions in a pinch)
1 clove minced garlic
1/4 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup fine dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Wash mushrooms and remove stems. Chop stems, onions and garlic. In med. saucepan, cook mixture in the butter. Add bread crumbs and cheese. Spoon mixture into mushroom caps. Bake 425 degrees for about 10 min. or until heated through.

8 oz. cream cheese 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes Clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel. Remove stems. Reserve for other uses. Place rack in large broiler pan.
