Appetizers - Dip - Chili Dip

2 cans Hormel chili (no beans)
1/4 cup onions, chopped
3/4 lbs Velveeta cheese, cubed
1/2 lbs sharp Cheddar, shredded


Cook onions in a little butter until tender, add rest of ingredients and cook over low heat until cheeses are melted. Stir often. Serve with tortilla chips.

8 oz. cream cheese 1 can chili no beans (such as Hormel) 1 (4 ounce) can green chilis, drained (optional) 8 oz. pkg. shredded Monterey Jack (can use jack/cheddar blend or jack with jalepeno peppers) Just layer and bake for 20 min. at 350. Serve with Fritos or Tostitos.

2 Tbsp. butter or margarine 2 eggs 2 - 16 oz. cans chili with beans 1 - 16 oz. can hominy, drained 1 - 16 oz. pkg. Velveeta Mexican-style cheese In saucepan, melt butter or margarine. Scramble eggs in pan. Add chili and drained hominy. Simmer 20 minutes. Cut cheese into cubes; add to chili mixture a little at a time and stir until melted. Serve warm with Fritos or tortilla chips. NOTE: Either mild or spicy cheese may be used. Can transfer to crockpot to keep warm.
