Appetizers - Dip Bread Carrabas Italian Dip Mix

1 T. crushed red pepper
1 T. black pepper
1 T. dried oregano
1 T. dried rosemary
1 T. dried basil
1 T. dried parsley
1 T. garlic powder
1 T. garlic-minced
1 tsp. salt

Grind together and put 1 tablespoon of mixture on plate. Pour extra virgin olive oil over and mix togetherwith mixture. Dip warm french bread in the mixture.

1/2 C Olive Oil 1/4 Tsp Parsley 1/2 Tsp Basil 1 Clove Minced Garlic 1/8 Tsp Oregano 1/4 Tsp Crushed Red Pepper 1/4 Tsp Kosher Salt 1/2 Tsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper Whisk all together in a small bowl. Can add 1.4 tsp rosemary instead of oregano, or use both!

Appetizers - Dip Blue Cheese Dip With Pecans
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, room temp. 2 c. purchased refrigerated blue cheese dressing 1 1/3 c. chopped pecans, toasted 1/2 c. crumbled blue cheese (about 4 oz.) Beat cream cheese in med. bowl til smooth. Beat in dressing. Stir in 1 c. pecans and crumbled blue cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Transfer dip to serving bowl. Sprinkle with remaining pecans around edges of dip. (Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover and chill). Serve with cut-up veggies and fruit such as carrots, bell peppers, celery, broccoli, apples and small grape clusters. Makes 3 cups
