Appetizers - Dip - Apple Dip

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Servings: Makes about 1 3/4 cups

1 (14-oz) can Eagle® Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (not evaporated milk)
1 cup butterscotch flavored chips
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons white vinegar
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Apple wedges

In heavy saucepan, over low heat, combine Eagle® Brand chips and salt. Cook and stir until chips melt.
Remove from heat; stir in vinegar and cinnamon. Serve warm with apples. Refrigerate leftovers.

To Reheat: In small heavy saucepan, combine desired amount of sauce with small amount of water. Over low heat, stir constantly until heated through.

Tip: Can be served warm over ice cream. Can be made several weeks ahead. Store tightly covered in refrigerator.

Microwave method: In 1 -quart glass measure, combine Eagle® Brand chips and salt. Microwave on full power (high) 3 or 3 1/2 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir in vinegar and cinnamon.

Appetizers - Dip -  Artichoke Cheese Dip
1 cup mayonnaise (not Miracle Whip!) 1 (14 oz.) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped 1 1/2 cups fancy shredded cheddar cheese 1 1/2 cups fancy shredded mozzarella cheese dash of salt and pepper Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients together and mix well. Pour into a 2 quart baking dish. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned. Dip can be served hot, cold, or at room temperature. Serve with tortilla chips, pita wedges, French bread or bagel pieces.

8 oz cream cheese 1/3 C milk 1/2 C whipping cream 1 C tart apples: finely chopped 1 C walnuts: chopped 1/2 C Dates finely chopped Assorted Crackers Soften cream cheese, whip with milk and cream, stir in apples, walnuts, and dates. Let chill several hours. Serve with assorted crackers.Makes about 3 cups.
