Appetizers - Cheese - Frosted Crab Cream Cheese Brick

12 oz cream cheese
1 can (6.5 - 8 oz.) crabmeat, drained
2 Tbsp horseradish
1 cup ketchup
Tobasco to taste

Soften cream cheese. Mix cream cheese with 1/2 of crabmeat and 2 tsp of horseradish.

Place remaining crabmeat in 3 x 5" rectangle atop piece of plastic wrap.

Spread cream cheese mixture atop crabmeat and wrap tightly with plastic wrap.

Refrigerate until 1/2 hour before serving (can be frozen; defrost for at least eight hours in refrigerator, then remove 1/2 hour before serving).

Mix ketchup, remaining horseradish and tobasco (to taste). Pour over crabmeat. Serve with Triscuits.

1 teaspoon butter 1 - 4 oz. wheel of brie 3 cloves of garlic, crushed (I use dried) almonds Optional: French Bread Toasted SlicesPreheat oven to 350°F.Put the butter on top of the brie, sprinkle with the garlic, and cover with sliced almonds. We slice french bread really thin, butter one side and sprinkle with a little garlic salt. Place on sheet of foil in oven. Toast bread for 15 minutes. Put brie in oven for 15 minutes along with the toast. One thing if you've not made brie before, leave the rind on it and it is editable.

1 8 oz cream cheese at room temperature 1/4 cup sweet butter at room temperature 1/4 cup creme' de menthe 1/2 cup shelled pistachios chopped Blend the cheese and butter well. Blend in the creme de menthe until smooth. Chill well in refrigerator. Roll mixture into tiny balls and roll into the chopped pistachioes.Place in the tiny colored paper candy cups and chill well.
