Appetizers - Cheese - Cream Cheese Appetizer

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 small jar mushrooms (pieces)
2 Tbsp. butter
1 clove garlic
2 egg yolks


Saute drained mushrooms in butter and garlic. Remove garlic. Mash cheese with egg yolks. Mix mushroom mixture with cheese and egg yolks.

Toast 7 slices of bread on one side (under broiler) until golden brown. Cut in squares.
Spread cheese mixture on untoasted side. Broil until golden brown.

1 3 ounce package cream cheese 2 tablespoons salad dressing 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 3 large dill pickles, cored Blend cream cheese, salad dressing, Worcestershire sauce and walnuts until smooth; stuff pickle centers. Chill for 1 hour or until cheese is firm. Slice crosswise.

1 (8 oz) cream cheese softened 1 tablespoon worcestshire sauce dash of garlic powder 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1/2 bottle chili sauce 1 can crabmeat rinsed and drained dry 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley Mix cream cheese, worcestshire sauce, lemon and garlic well. Spread on a dinner plate so that it looks like a pizza crust. Pour a bottle of chili sauce (more or less to taste) Sprinkle crabmeat on top. Sprinkle on parsley. Serve with Triscuits or crackers. Can also be made with shrimp.
